About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scripts, APIs, and workflow automations for workplace systems, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, and Okta.
  • Develop lightweight services and integrations connecting collaboration tools, generative AI tools, and internal systems to enable virtual assistants and workflow agents.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for automation and AI workflows; troubleshoot issues and improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Automate secure onboarding, offboarding, and mover workflows across access, permissions, and SaaS tools.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, and People teams to embed identity, data, and compliance standards such as SSO, DLP, and classification into automation guardrails.
  • Pilot AI and productivity capabilities, integrate LLMs and agents, track usage and adoption metrics, and build user-assistance workflows.
  • Contribute to code reviews, shared workflow and agent library documentation, and reusable integration templates.
  • Partner with senior engineers to modernize workplace systems through scalable architecture, API-first design, and agentic workflows.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or workplace technology development, focused on automation or scripting.
  • Proficiency in one or more of Java, Go, Python, JavaScript/Apps Script, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian.
  • Understanding of IAM/SSO, including Okta, SAML, OIDC, or SCIM, or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Experience or interest in CI/CD, workflow orchestration, and self-service delivery models.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Interest in responsible integration of LLMs, agents, and prompt pipelines into workplace systems.
