Sales Engineer
Supports complex B2B SaaS sales by leading technical discovery, demos, solution design, and validation for enterprise prospects. Requires 4+ years in a pre-sales technical role and strong knowledge of SaaS architectures, APIs, and integrations.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical deep dives, tailored demos, and solution walkthroughs for mid-market and enterprise prospects.
- Conduct structured technical discovery of customer systems, workflows, and integration needs.
- Design and validate customer-specific solutions against technical, operational, and business requirements.
- Own the technical pre-sales process and partner with Account Executives on deal strategy.
- Address questions about product architecture, AI behavior, scalability, security, and implementation.
- Support pilots, trials, and technical validation efforts.
- Resolve technical objections and advise on deployment and rollout strategies.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, AI Enablement, Revenue Operations, and customer teams.
- Ensure smooth pre-sales-to-post-sales handoffs.
- Contribute to pre-sales playbooks, demos, and technical messaging.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a similar B2B SaaS pre-sales role.
- Experience leading technical conversations with mid-market and enterprise customers through complex sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, APIs, and integrations.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting enterprise or technically complex sales motions.
- Ability to manage multiple deals and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, autonomous, organized, and effective in fast-moving environments.
- Willingness to work in person full time.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with AI-powered products, conversational AI platforms, or data-driven systems.
- Background in implementations, technical program management, customer onboarding, or post-sale handoffs.
- Familiarity with call center software, communications platforms, or CRM integrations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $160,000–$200,000.
- Total compensation may include base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.
