Responsibilities
Execute in-depth data analysis to assess IT and security control effectiveness using complex, reusable SQL queries against Snowflake and other internal data platforms.
Validate system and model changes by testing their compliance and performance impact, and document results for stakeholders.
Produce accurate data extracts and reports from multiple sources, translating audit data requests into clear requirements and outputs.
Test ETL processes from upstream production systems into data repositories and from repositories into enterprise tools, validating completeness and accuracy at each stage.
Design and enhance metrics dashboards to measure IT and security system performance and provide actionable insights to the Internal Audit team.
Partner with Engineering, Security, and IT stakeholders to gather audit evidence and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a data analytics role at a technology, consulting, financial institution, or fintech firm.
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with large datasets in platforms such as Snowflake, including query optimization and reusable code patterns.
Working knowledge of IT operations, security infrastructure, cybersecurity programs, and enterprise technology stacks sufficient to identify control gaps.
Experience testing or validating data ETL workflows, including data completeness and accuracy checks across pipeline stages.
Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual base salary range: $131,195–$138,100 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility.
