Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end frontend projects from design through implementation, deployment, and monitoring for login, signup, OAuth, account security, and multi-user/multi-organization support.
- Author and review technical design documents, translating ambiguous and complex initiatives into executable plans.
- Drive the Native versus Webview architecture strategy for authentication surfaces, balancing latency, reliability, and user experience.
- Identify and resolve systemic technical debt and code-quality issues across the team’s codebase.
- Lead on-call, code review, and incident-response rituals.
- Mentor engineers on frontend craft and ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience independently leading end-to-end delivery of ambiguous, complex projects.
- Experience authoring and driving technical design documents through cross-functional review and implementation for 2–3 major initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve systemic technical debt with measurable improvements to reliability or developer velocity.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading on-call rotations, code review standards, and incident response.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $186,065–$218,900 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
- Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
