Lead and develop a team of Account Executives selling Databricks' data and AI platform to Digital Natives customers ($1B+ revenue). Drive team quota attainment, new business acquisition, and account expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and motivate a team of Account Executives focused on selling to Digital Natives customers ($1B+ revenue)
  • Build and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets for the team
  • Develop and execute evolving revenue plans and growth tactics
  • Develop long-term customer, partner, and cross-functional relationships
  • Help team understand customer commercial goals and relate them to value proposition
  • Lead team to communicate value proposition through proposals and presentations

Requirements

  • 5+ years high-growth Cloud/Data & AI leader with experience leading a field sales team
  • 3+ years of experience translating a highly technical product into quantified business value for the C-Suite
  • 3+ years of experience selling against open source or freemium
  • Demonstrated track record delivering towards personal and team goals while upleveling process
  • Ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve personal objectives with a team-first mindset
  • Coach and develop sales fundamentals to Account Executives including prospecting, forecasting, and negotiation tactics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to the C-Suite
  • Willing to travel (<35%)
