Responsibilities
Own a core product surface or problem area end to end, from framing the problem through shipping high-craft work.
Set direction and raise the quality bar beyond individual deliverables.
Apply product thinking, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping through production fidelity.
Partner closely with product management, engineering, research, and design systems.
Use AI natively to explore, prototype, and ship, and help advance the design practice.
Lead through influence and elevate the craft of other designers.
Requirements
Versatile product designer with a clear area of exceptional depth and a portfolio demonstrating both range and a spike.
Staff-level scope, including setting direction and raising quality across more than individual work.
AI integrated into the design process, with sufficient depth to move the practice forward.
Low-ego, highly collaborative approach.
Systems thinking and ability to design patterns that scale across surfaces and teams.
Strong product judgment and empathy for creators and the creator economy is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary targeted at $210,000–$250,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers vary based on location, experience, expertise, and role scope.
