Product Design Lead, Workforce Management

Responsibilities

• Design exceptional product experiences for modern workforce management across forecasting, scheduling, time and attendance, team communication, and operational workflows.
• Get close to customers to understand how managers and admins run hourly teams, identify workflow breaks, hidden complexity, and opportunities for design impact.
• Design scalable capabilities and platform patterns that work across multiple products, customer segments, and use cases.
• Use AI as a core part of the design process to clarify problem spaces, generate requirements, explore edge cases, and pressure-test solutions.
• Prototype with AI-assisted tools to make ideas tangible quickly, explore interactions, and validate solutions through working flows.
• Develop hands-on understanding of evolving AI capabilities and apply insights to product and design decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of end-to-end product design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating systems design and complex product delivery.
• Active use of LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in design workflow for research, requirements, copy, or exploration.
• Comfort with AI-assisted prototyping tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar).
• Strong eye for craft in interaction and visual design, with ability to set high quality standards.
• Relentless customer focus and ability to translate real user needs into design decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills for guiding cross-functional partners through decisions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing AI features with transparency, oversight, and appropriate human judgment checkpoints.
• Background in complex operational or workforce systems.
