Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-based solutions that meet business needs, including designing and deploying services in the cloud with application teams.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure: optimize cluster resource usage, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform: provision resources, automate changes, and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement Kubernetes best practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Respond to incidents during weekly on-call rotation: resolve issues, communicate with stakeholders, conduct post-mortems.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS preferred, Azure, GCP).
• 3+ years with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Mastery of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Argo CD.
• Deep understanding of network architectures, software engineering, web technologies, SQL databases, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Go, bash.
• Experience with monitoring/logging: Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience in fast-paced startup environment.
• SOC2 and/or ISO27001 compliance/audit experience.
• Security engineering and vulnerability management.
