Community Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Korean traders, ecosystem builders, and community members across Aptos and Decibel.
• Build, activate, and grow local trading communities through Telegram, Kakao, Discord, X, and offline events, attracting and retaining active traders.
• Identify and engage high-value traders, KOLs, and Korean trading communities, converting them into active Decibel users and ecosystem advocates.
• Plan and execute local events, meetups, AMAs, and trading competitions.
• Connect ecosystem builders and projects with technical resources, funding opportunities, and co-marketing support.
• Gather and synthesize trading-community feedback and sentiment for product, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Collaborate on localization of campaigns, content, and programs for the Korean market.
• Develop relationships with traders, founders, developer communities, and industry partners.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in community management, ecosystem development, or trader relations in web3.
• Active participation in crypto trading communities, with meaningful exposure to derivatives, perpetuals, and onchain trading products.
• An established network within the Korean crypto trading ecosystem; relationships with KOLs, trading groups, or derivatives communities are a plus.
• Deep familiarity with the Korean web3 landscape, local platforms, communities, and trader acquisition dynamics.
• Hands-on experience running AMAs, trading competitions, workshops, or regional meetups.
• Strong Korean and English communication skills, with the ability to engage traders, builders, and technical teams.
• Ability to operate effectively across multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to travel within Korea and the broader region as needed.
