About the role
Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for FluidStack's high-density GPU data centers, collaborating across disciplines to produce complete construction document sets.
Deliver designs that meet our rigorous quality standards while staying aligned with project budgets and timelines.
Partner with commissioning teams to thoroughly test, validate, and document the installation and performance of electrical systems before handoff.
Manage multiple concurrent projects across FluidStack's growing footprint, balancing priorities across different regions and time zones.
Travel to project sites as needed to conduct field reviews, support onsite engineers, perform electrical system audits, and assist with startup activities.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
4+ years of Professional Electrical Engineering experience ideally in a mission critical setting
Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
Hands on design experience
Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers

Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
Knowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systems
Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production

Base salary range: $180,000 - $270,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options
