Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fraud detection models through full lifecycle: data acquisition, featurization, labeling, training, experimentation, productionalization, monitoring.
- Build foundational modeling for Fraud and Financial Risk products.
- Research new fraud types and develop identity verification products.
- Achieve success through iteration, new data sources, inventive feature engineering.
- Write production-ready code for real-time decisions.
- Design, perform, present analyses for data acquisition, product development, risk operations, marketing, sales.
- Collaborate with engineering, risk operations, data acquisitions for data access and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (or equivalent).
- Strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, or applied data science.
- Experience with Python and data science tools (coursework, research, internships, projects).
- Ability to analyze complex problems and build data-driven solutions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interest in fraud, identity, financial risk.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Strong attention to detail and curiosity.
- Thrive in fast-paced environment.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $220,000/year + equity + benefits.
