Staff AI Marketing Systems Engineer
Build and operate production AI agent systems that help Sales and Marketing teams with account planning, deal support, competitive intelligence, and content creation. The role requires 6+ years of experience shipping reliable LLM workflows with retrieval, tool use, permissions, evaluation, and observability.

Responsibilities
- Discover and define seller, product marketing, and campaign workflows through direct observation and stakeholder conversations.
- Design agent runtime and application architecture for context, state, tools, permissions, retrieval, evaluation, and human review.
- Define trusted knowledge flows across account, persona, product, competitive, and campaign information, including freshness, provenance, and conflicting sources.
- Build routing systems and specialist agents for sales assets, campaign briefs, competitive responses, copy production, and active-deal support.
- Integrate AI systems with Salesforce, Seismic, Gong, Notion, Snowflake, Slack, and existing Sales AI tools.
- Implement permission-aware retrieval, authorization, audit trails, prompt-injection defenses, retention controls, and safe autonomy boundaries.
- Evaluate and improve agent behavior using evaluation sets, seller feedback, usage data, and quality signals.
- Build evaluation frameworks, regression pipelines, release checks, escalation paths, and human-review workflows.
- Own the roadmap and lifecycle from prototype through production, monitoring performance, quality, latency, usage, and cost.
Requirements
- 6+ years designing, building, and operating production workflows using LLM APIs, tool calling, retrieval, structured outputs, and agent workflows.
- Experience shipping AI-enabled software used by real users and improving it through evaluation and feedback.
- Experience designing agent boundaries, context and state management, permission-aware tools, evaluation, observability, failure handling, and human review.
- Ability to define technical requirements from real business workflows and own product and workflow decisions.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Data, Security, IT, and Engineering teams.
