Responsibilities
Own full product and circuit design for flight critical subsystems, including analog, digital, high-speed, power, compute, sensors, FPGA, and other functional blocks
Design for high reliability in challenging environments (temperature, altitude, radiation, vibration)
Full-cycle hardware development: concept, modeling, worst case analysis, schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, design reiteration, testing and validation
Drive PCB layout and design with ECAD engineers, optimizing for power density, EMI, thermal, and manufacturability
Design for Safety, Manufacturability and Reliability using best practices
Execute board bring up, verification, validation and HALT testing to meet aerospace reliability standards
Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical, CAD, Embedded, Software, Production and aircraft teams
Lead and contribute to cross-functional design reviews
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical milestones
Mentor and lead other engineers
Requirements
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
Experienced with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, circuit debugging, and system integration
Familiarity with Altium or equivalent
Demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding high standards, and being kind
Designs and analyzes 3D integrated ASIC/SoC products, optimizing power, performance, area, and handling verification, IR/EM, packaging, and cooling. Requires 10+ years experience in physical design flows, scripting, and 3D stacking technologies.
