Responsibilities
Contribute to the technical design and roadmap for core platform components, author technical specifications, and help transition legacy systems into scalable cloud-native microservices.
Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude, or internal LLMs to generate code, expand test coverage, and prototype solutions while maintaining code quality and safety.
Own components end to end, balancing feature delivery with reliability, security, and technical debt reduction.
Partner with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate customer and regulatory requirements into technical specifications, developer-focused APIs, and application workflows.
Mentor junior engineers, onboard team members, conduct constructive code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
Identify and resolve technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
Participate in on-call responsibilities, resolve incidents, and implement durable root-cause remediation.
Document technical designs, system trade-offs, operational runbooks, RFCs, and implementation guidance.
Requirements
5+ years of experience designing and developing highly available, high-scale, secure, mission-critical cloud-native enterprise distributed systems.
Strong proficiency in Java or Go.
Solid knowledge of AWS, including Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, and Kafka.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure, microservice patterns, and highly resilient systems.
Practical experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor for debugging, code synthesis, and prototyping.
Experience building and maintaining high-volume public-facing APIs with a focus on developer experience.
Experience with high-throughput data processing and storage solutions, including SQL/NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, or Spark.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions through technical credibility.
