STEM Fellow - Human Frontier Collective

STEM Fellows apply academic and professional expertise to design evaluation datasets, assess generative AI systems, and contribute research insights and publications. The fully remote, six-month independent contractor opportunity is suited to PhDs, postdoctoral researchers, and professors with relevant domain expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on high-impact projects with AI labs and platforms.
  • Design complex, domain-specific problems and datasets to rigorously evaluate generative AI models.
  • Provide expert insights to improve model accuracy, reasoning, and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with the research team to co-author technical reports and research papers.
  • Participate in review projects, advisory roles, and research activities.

Requirements

  • PhD, postdoctoral research experience, or professorship with domain expertise in a STEM or related discipline, such as:
