Responsibilities
- Write low-latency financial software processing billions of dollars in daily trading volume, including order-book matching engines, trading engines, and REST and WebSocket API endpoints.
- Build high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs for frontend applications and programmatic traders.
- Write open-source TypeScript and Python clients for direct interaction with on-chain smart contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the overall product.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of full-time developer experience; new graduates may qualify with internship experience at a top technology company.
- Demonstrated technical depth and excellence through previous work.
- Ability to write secure, efficient, high-quality code.
- Ability to learn and master new technologies quickly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of experience, or a master's degree in the same and 1 year of experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building high-quality products in finance or security.
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience building blockchain applications or smart contracts.
Compensation
- Salary range: $180,000–$240,000 USD.
- Compensation varies by experience and location; additional variable compensation may include merit increases, bonuses, commissions, or equity incentives.
