Senior Data & Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution across data initiatives, ensuring roadmaps are executed on time, at high quality, and aligned to business goals.
• Lead and grow the data organization: manage and mentor data analysts and data engineers, set technical direction.
• Drive advanced analysis using Python and SQL to uncover trends and influence product, customer experience, and strategy.
• Build and scale data infrastructure: own data pipelines and analytics architecture using dbt and Amazon Redshift.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability as the company grows.
• Ensure data trust and quality: define and enforce data quality, validation, and governance standards.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and Engineering.
• Promote modern data engineering practices and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

Requirements

• Proven people leader: experience leading, mentoring, and scaling technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Deep expertise in Python (data analysis, automation), SQL (complex queries, optimization), dbt (data modeling and transformations), Amazon Redshift (analytics and warehousing).
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and scalable system design.
• Execution-focused: comfortable with agile methodologies, balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
• High-impact problem solver: navigate ambiguity and drive complex challenges.
• Clear communicator: translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
