About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop test strategy and roadmap for end-to-end system integration to validate performance under various conditions.
  • Define performance metrics for Motion, Body, and EE Architecture Domains and report risks.
  • Identify integration risks and collaborate with engineers to define test plans.
  • Act as SME for testing and integration in core domains (Motion Controls, Body Systems, or EE Systems).
  • Establish data-driven best practices like DOE for efficient testing.
  • Lead cross-functional forums to resolve complex integration issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Vehicle Integration or System development.
  • Proven track record in Motion Controls, Body Systems, or EE Systems.
  • Expertise in automotive development processes and systems engineering lifecycle (right side of V-model).
  • Extensive hands-on vehicle-level testing, instrumentation, data analysis.
  • Experience developing SFMEA.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Shainin RedX, 5Why methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Automotive Calibration Development at Vehicle Level.
  • Controls Development using xIL and Rapid Controls Prototyping.
  • Vehicle program development from prototype to launch.
  • ISO 21448 (SOTIF) or ISO 26262 experience.
