Implementation Support Specialist

Implementation Support Specialist serving as primary contact for external TPA clients during new group implementations. Gather/document requirements, manage project plans and coordination, perform data entry and CRM updates, provide go-live support, and act as liaison across internal teams in a fast-paced healthcare/pharmacy environment.

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for TPA (external client) for new group implementations.
  • Gather TPA requirements including points of contact, due dates, account structures, group numbers, invoicing, ID cards, eligibility files, etc.
  • Document all requirements in standard project templates and tools.
  • Assist Implementation Manager and/or Implementation Analysts with project tasks throughout the new group implementation lifecycle.
  • Maintain detailed project plan and open items log for project monitoring.
  • Manage day-to-day coordination and task management for a pod of Implementation Managers and/or Implementation Specialists.
  • Conduct administrative tasks and data entry for new group implementations in applicable systems.
  • Build client profiles using CRM tool.
  • Act as liaison between internal contracting team and Implementation Team, and between internal invoicing team and Implementation Team.
  • Provide go-live support to Implementation Managers, Analysts, and TPA.
  • Participate in post go-live discussions to improve performance.
  • Participate in the new group implementation lifecycle, internal and external client meetings.
  • Organize high volume tasks to meet deadlines and project milestones.
  • Provide attention to detail on all project requirements.
  • Act as a self-starter and take initiative.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Healthcare and/or pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating complex tasks across multiple projects and clients.
  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Corporate experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Proficiency in Google platform/apps preferred.
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.
  • Strong communication skills (face-to-face, conference calls, written).
  • Strong team orientation and desire to succeed.
  • Flexible, adaptable, able to respond under pressure in a fast-paced technology company.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and solve for near-term deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with grace, efficiency, and ownership.
