Responsibilities
Oversee the quarterly non-US tax provision process in line with company close timelines, working with third-party providers and internal teams to improve accuracy and timeliness.
Lead preparation and processing of local tax provisions, tax forecasting, and quarterly reporting in collaboration with accounting.
Build and improve tax models supporting provision, planning, and forecasting across jurisdictions.
Track tax deliverables, deadlines, and escalations.
Prepare materials for leadership reviews, external reporting, and compliance deliverables.
Manage third-party tax service provider relationships and competing tasks and projects.
Support strategic tax initiatives by providing quantitative insights and recommendations.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess impacts on tax operations and modeling.
Lead and support cross-functional tax projects, including process improvements, system implementations, audit readiness, and policy rollouts.
Improve tax workflows, reporting accuracy, and team efficiency.
Translate business changes into tax process updates and modeling assumptions with senior tax and accounting leaders.
Prepare documentation for tax audits, inquiries, and internal control testing.
Manage tax department operations, including calendar tracking, documentation workflows, and internal and external resource coordination.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in corporate tax, tax operations, financial analysis, or related fields.
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with willingness to learn new technologies.
Experience supporting tax provision cycles, compliance processes, and audits.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and accountability.
Familiarity with tax control frameworks, documentation standards, and reporting requirements.
Strong organizational, written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.
Ability to synthesize technical details for non-tax stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience with tax provision software or ERP systems.
CPA, MST, or equivalent certification.
Compensation and Benefits
Full compensation package including equity and health, vision, and dental benefits based on country of residence.
Base compensation varies by candidate location and experience, with bonus eligibility.
SF Bay Area, Los Angeles/Orange County, and Seattle: $131,000–$159,000.
All other California cities, Portland, and all other Washington cities: $121,000–$146,000.
All other cities and towns in approved states: $113,000–$136,000.
