Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship Android features in a large production application.
Contribute to Android infrastructure to keep delivery fast and reliable.
Review code, provide developer feedback, and write technical documentation to improve coding practices and code quality.
Lead development initiatives, including introducing technologies and improving code, practices, and architecture.
Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on technology, design, and product direction.
Triage product and application issues and respond quickly to customer problems.

Requirements

5+ years of experience developing high-quality Android applications.
Strong understanding of the full mobile app development lifecycle and Android SDK.
Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Knowledge of Android app components, OS lifecycle behavior, notifications, deep links, battery modes, network state, data persistence, and permissions.
Experience with performance tuning, optimization, Gradle builds, and modularization.
Strong concurrency knowledge and experience with coroutines.
Ability to make architectural decisions based on data and requirements.
Working knowledge of MVVM and multi-tier architecture.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
Experience using AI and LLM tools in day-to-day development while maintaining quality, review, and security standards.
Experience with Dagger/Hilt, OkHttp, and Retrofit.
Experience building automated test suites with Espresso or Kakao, including unit, integration, and UI testing.
Familiarity with mobile accessibility, OAuth, mobile authentication, data safety, Material Design, mobile UX, and mobile design patterns.
