Responsibilities
Design and implement hardware and software systems for comprehensive performance and reliability validation of autonomous flying products.
Develop and execute test plans and testing infrastructure to enable rapid design iteration and product validation.
Analyze data, calculate statistics, and document results to explain trends and inform design improvements.
Perform failure analysis, identify root causes, and help develop process and design mitigations for system issues.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
Participate in design reviews and provide design-for-reliability input throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
Systematic approach to problem solving and rapidly identifying issues within electro-mechanical systems.
Strong interest in driving failure analyses to true root cause.
Experience with Python or other programming languages for test automation, data analysis, and visualization.
Strong desire to learn and contribute across multiple technical domains.

Compensation
Hourly rate: $47/hr for undergraduate students, $53/hr for graduate students, and $58/hr for PhD students.
