About the role

What You’ll Be Working On

Project Planning & Execution Support

  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive project plans, including technical design and material specifications
  • Ensure absolute alignment between project budgets and critical-path schedules

Electrical System Design & Engineering

  • Contribute to the design and specification of electrical systems for large-scale power projects
  • Work with power generation equipment, transformers, and the full spectrum of low, medium, and high-voltage cabling and wiring

Technical Documentation

  • Develop and review high-fidelity technical documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure "production-ready" designs

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant safety standards, local/national codes, and global regulations

Procurement Management

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement of specialized electrical equipment
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure quality and lead-time requirements are met

Installation & Commissioning Oversight

  • Oversee the physical installation and commissioning of electrical systems at field locations, both domestically and internationally
  • Ensure systems are "live" and operational per specifications

Stakeholder Communication

  • Contribute to regular project status meetings
  • Provide clear, effective technical communication to cross-functional stakeholders

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in industrial environments, with a preference for experience in power generation and distribution

Technical Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power systems, control systems, and electrical safety standards
  • Experience with electrical equipment design, procurement, and installation
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes and regulations (e.g., NEC)

Skills

  • Proven ability to be a contributing member in a high performing team
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to travel to field locations up to 25%, or as required
