Responsibilities
- Lead the analytics function across the organization, ensuring consistency in methodologies, toolsets, and quality standards across embedded teams.
- Align analytics roadmaps with department goals and P&L objectives.
- Establish standardized processes for experimentation, data modeling, and reporting, ensuring data trust and integrity.
- Guide exploratory analyses, root-cause analyses, and business cases.
- Conduct hands-on analysis for complex or ambiguous problems.
- Review RFCs, experimental designs, learning briefs, success metrics, and complex test results.
- Manage performance, career development, and growth for Analytics Managers and Leads.
- Manage team bandwidth and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
- Lead workstreams directly when senior intervention is required.
- Expand the analytics organization to support business growth.
- Deliver insights and narratives to executive leadership that influence company strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics engineering, and data science teams on data modeling, experimentation, and analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, including 5+ years in direct-to-consumer domains.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers and overseeing cross-functional or embedded analytics organizations.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python, including sophisticated analysis and performance optimization.
- Expertise designing, interpreting, and monitoring randomized controlled trials, including A/B/n testing, significance testing, and statistical inference.
- Experience developing and interpreting advanced experimental frameworks.
- Proven ability to use data to influence strategy and communicate effectively with individual contributors and executives.
- Ability to translate complex data into structured narratives and actionable insights.
- Experience designing and implementing actionable dashboards.
- Experience with dimensional modeling and Kimball methodologies in modern data ecosystems.
- Experience using root-cause analysis to identify business opportunities.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable analytics infrastructure with Product, Engineering, and Finance partners.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience in direct-to-consumer fintech.
- Experience managing distributed or hybrid teams across time zones.
- Expertise in data transformation and modeling.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $260,000–$320,000.
