Systems Engineer
Owns the systems engineering lifecycle for safety-critical ADAS and parking functions, from requirements and safety concepts through verification, validation, and series release. The role requires 4+ years of automotive systems engineering experience and knowledge of driver-assistance regulations and architectures.

Responsibilities
- Drive the entire systems engineering workflow, including defining and managing system requirements, generating safety concepts, and implementing verification and validation strategies for active safety functions or parking.
- Assure structured and rapid progress toward an automotive series release by measuring and tracking KPIs across digital tests and real-world data.
- Use simulation and data tools to monitor high-level KPIs and investigate individual tests through a unified web frontend.
- Translate worldwide regulations and standards into the development process.
- Derive functional requirements and define test cases from regulations and voluntary assessments such as NCAP.
- Maintain direct customer contacts and exposure.
- Contribute to the growth of software-defined solutions in Europe and for European customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience bringing safety-critical ADAS functions through series release.
- 4+ years of experience in a systems engineering role responsible for owning system requirements, testing systems for verification and validation, and designing safety-critical systems in the automotive industry.
- Experience with worldwide regulations and standards relevant to driver assistance.
- Deep understanding of ADAS/AD system architectural design, including newer end-to-end architectures.
- Ability to work independently and quickly become comfortable with new technical concepts and tools.
- Strong collaboration skills when working with teams, customers, and companies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Nice to Have
- Series-project experience with active safety functions such as AEB and LKA.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with prototype vehicles.
- Experience working with simulation tools.
