About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform penetration testing engagements against diverse cloud environments to find vulnerabilities in software, systems, and networks.
  • Set scope, priority-based test plans, and timelines for penetration testing engagements.
  • Develop testing methodologies for new applications, technologies, protocols, controls, and concepts.
  • Work with security and engineering teams to manage product releases, plan engagements, communicate findings and recommendations, and inform stakeholders.
  • Partner with security engineers in the Product Security program to drive reviews, designs, and controls.
  • Focus primarily on penetration testing while supporting other SDLC processes as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in penetration testing across any cloud environment.
  • Experience finding and exploiting bugs in C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, Python.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native Systems and Applications, Client Side Applications, Micro Services, Database Systems, Drivers, Connectors, AI Agents and Systems, Web Applications.
  • Strong understanding of supporting technologies to assess risks and solutions.
  • Ability to develop new attack methods beyond reliance on tools.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with developers and security engineers.
  • Prior experience balancing security and business demands for product releases.
