Software Engineer Intern - Warsaw Security

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program during the internship
  • Studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Completed coursework in algorithms, data structures, and operating systems
  • Recommended coursework in information security, cryptography, cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems
  • Internship duration of 4 months or longer is recommended
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java
  • Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Familiarity with ML/AI concepts is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to learn quickly
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Passion for security and technology
  • Working proficiency in English

Learning and Responsibilities

  • Build enterprise-grade, reliable, and secure software services at cloud scale
  • Gain hands-on experience across application security, infrastructure and cloud security, security engineering, threat detection and response, and compliance and governance
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in large-scale distributed systems
  • Build security tooling and automation using Python and Java
  • Apply ML/AI techniques to security problems such as anomaly detection and threat intelligence
  • Collaborate with product management and engineers to deliver customer-facing security features
  • Gain practical experience with cloud infrastructure security on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
