Requirements
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program during the internship
- Studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Completed coursework in algorithms, data structures, and operating systems
- Recommended coursework in information security, cryptography, cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems
- Internship duration of 4 months or longer is recommended
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java
- Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with ML/AI concepts is a plus
- Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to learn quickly
- Experience working as part of a team
- Passion for security and technology
- Working proficiency in English
Learning and Responsibilities
- Build enterprise-grade, reliable, and secure software services at cloud scale
- Gain hands-on experience across application security, infrastructure and cloud security, security engineering, threat detection and response, and compliance and governance
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in large-scale distributed systems
- Build security tooling and automation using Python and Java
- Apply ML/AI techniques to security problems such as anomaly detection and threat intelligence
- Collaborate with product management and engineers to deliver customer-facing security features
- Gain practical experience with cloud infrastructure security on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
