About You
- 7+ years experience in product management in a high-paced, agile software development environment, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products.
- Several years of experience in building products at startups in cross-functional teams with product designers, engineers, and business partners.
- Empathic and driven by solving problems for your users. Ability to dig deep into their problems and really understand what drives them.
- Systems thinker who solves problems in a holistic way. Draws data flow diagrams and complexity makes you salivate.
- Traverses between altitudes with ease. Can think big picture on product strategy in one moment and then get in the trenches to solve a calculation definition issue in the next.
- Resourceful and scrappy in the right ways. Knows when to invest versus stand-up fake doors to validate a hypothesis. Understands that sometimes the best path forward may not be through building software.
Salary
Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our expected cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
- $204,000 - 240,000 in San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA; New York, NY
- $193,800 - 228,000 in Seattle, WA
We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.
