Summary

Own positioning, messaging, and sales enablement assets for an AI SaaS platform. Build launches end-to-end and establish the PMM operating system as the sole senior PMM.

About the role

What You’ll Own

Positioning, Messaging, and the Sales Pitch

  • Own the positioning and core messaging for our AI platform and the products inside it.
  • Build the master sales pitch and partner with Sales Enablement to land it across the team.
  • Review customer interactions and get close to the customer. Build positioning that resonates.

Sales Enablement Craft

  • Build the assets sellers actually use — case studies, demo scripts, objection handlers, battlecards, one-pagers.
  • Make the assets so good that reps reach for them. Measure usage.

Launches, Done Tightly

  • Run launches end to end for the products that matter most. Define the audience, the narrative, the channels, and the success metrics.
  • Write the announcement emails, the in-product copy, the launch pages — and ship them at a level that doesn’t need to be rewritten.

Building the System

  • Establish the PMM operating system at LP: launch templates, naming, intake from Product, calibration rhythm with Sales and Marketing, what gets prioritized and what does not.
  • Make the function legible to the rest of the company so it scales past you.

Customer and Competitive Insight

  • Stand up a lightweight competitive intelligence loop. Keep it current. Make it useful to sellers and PMs.
  • Translate customer insight into messaging, roadmap input, and campaign concepts.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience at high-growth SaaS, with at least 2 years operating as the only or most senior PMM at your company.
  • Track record of shipping launches end to end as an individual contributor — positioning, copy, sales assets, the whole thing.
  • Experience partnering closely with PMs and Sales Enablement to land messaging on the floor, not just in the deck.
  • Bonus: vertical or SMB SaaS, AI-native product surfaces, proptech/martech.

Attributes

  • Systems-builder. You leave behind process, not chaos. You make the function legible.
  • Hands-on craft. You write the email yourself, and your V1 is close. Drafts don’t come back unrecognizable.
  • AI-native. You use AI tools to get to a higher-quality finished product faster, and you bring a strong point of view on what good looks like.
  • Disciplined focus. You can resist doing all of product marketing and instead go deep on the few things that move revenue.
  • Self-starter. You don’t wait for a brief. You don’t wait for a team. You ship.
  • Sales-floor curiosity. You want to be on the calls, not just in the doc.
