About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding
  • Manage benefits administration and compliance infrastructure
  • Handle employee relations with discretion and maintain trust
  • Build processes and judgment layers on top of existing HRIS (Rippling) to support company scaling
  • Ensure employment law compliance and proactively identify gaps

Requirements

  • 5+ years in People Ops, including time at a startup building new processes
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and ability to spot compliance issues
  • Experience managing HRIS platforms (Rippling or similar) with critical thinking
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion
  • Self-starter who can create processes without needing a playbook
