About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding
- Manage benefits administration and compliance infrastructure
- Handle employee relations with discretion and maintain trust
- Build processes and judgment layers on top of existing HRIS (Rippling) to support company scaling
- Ensure employment law compliance and proactively identify gaps
Requirements
- 5+ years in People Ops, including time at a startup building new processes
- Strong knowledge of employment law and ability to spot compliance issues
- Experience managing HRIS platforms (Rippling or similar) with critical thinking
- Proven ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion
- Self-starter who can create processes without needing a playbook
