Marketing & Content Engineering
Stedi is seeking a technical content developer and marketer to create engaging content for healthcare providers, developers, and technical teams. This role involves researching topics, building demos, producing technical content, and representing Stedi publicly.
What we're looking for
We're hiring a seasoned content developer and marketer to create world-class content for providers, developers, and technical teams building revenue cycle systems in healthcare. This is a marketing role, but you won’t be doing typical brand marketing or surface-level thought leadership.
Your job is simple: create engaging content that evangelizes Stedi across the entire RCM ecosystem. You are a creative generalist with a passion for scaling and evangelizing technical products. You'll vibe code demos, produce videos, publish content, organize events, update our website, product sales collateral, and more.
Prior familiarity with healthcare and revenue cycle management is not expected.
What you'll do
- Research: You’ll find and research topics our customers want to learn more about. You’ll source ideas from support requests, sales calls, demos, Slack community posts, and Stedi’s own industry experts.
- Create world-class technical content: You’ll produce and publish written technical content that’s engaging to our customers and prospects.
- Build demos and developer tools. You'll build and publish demo apps, sample revenue cycle management (RCM) tools, and other projects that show developers what they can build on Stedi.
- Create technical content. You'll produce blog posts, YouTube tutorials, explainer videos, and other content that helps developers understand Stedi's APIs and related healthcare billing workflows.
- Mine customer knowledge. You'll use AI tools to extract common questions from support tickets, sales calls, and customer conversations. You’ll turn those questions into guides, demos, and other content.
- Represent Stedi publicly. You'll be a public-facing voice for Stedi's developer community, appearing on video and representing the product in online spaces.
- Measure your impact. You'll track what's working using metrics and adjust your approach.
Who you are
- You're technical. You have a background in technical operations, content, or software engineering roles. You're comfortable engaging technical audiences, producing content for software engineers, making API requests, building demo apps, and using the command line. You can build a working demo from scratch.
- You’re an expert technical communicator. You’ve written high-quality technical content. You can explain complex workflows and complicated concepts in plain English without dumbing them down.
- You're comfortable on camera. You can explain and demo technical products clearly and confidently on screen. You have examples of demos, tutorials, walkthroughs, and other recorded content you can share.
- You have editing chops. You can script, record, edit, and publish video content independently. You know how to make content look and sound great.
- You're a builder. You love to design and scale systems that work. You're comfortable experimenting with AI and new tools to get more done with less.
- You move quickly. We move quickly as an organization. You'll respond with urgency, communicate what you're working on, and ask for help when you need it.
- You're the voice of the developer. You understand what developers need to know. You can make complex systems understandable.
- You thrive on details. No task is too small to find success, generate revenue, and reduce costs.
