Responsibilities

  • Understand Lyft's strategic and competitive position; set team goals and success metrics aligned with Lyft's mission based on data analysis, market research, and usability studies
  • Set an ambitious vision that motivates and inspires the team, peers, and leadership while scaling across diverse contexts
  • Own products from ideation through development, experiment, launch, growth, and maintenance, focusing on user needs
  • Lead and align cross-functional partners including engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners, and operations
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across partner teams to executive level

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, product design, or equivalent consultant experience with significant time spent leading consumer mobile apps
  • 2+ years of experience managing product managers
  • Passion for sustainable urban transportation
  • Ability to manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized way
  • Ability to define and analyze metrics that inform product success
  • Excellent judgment about product ecosystem dynamics
  • Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level
  • Experience leading post-launch optimizations including developing testing strategies
  • Ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills
