About the role
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end program plan for next-generation compute and sensor software workstreams, from architecture definition through bring-up, validation, and production readiness.
Partner with hardware, firmware, perception, and systems engineering leads to align requirements, interfaces, and milestones across the compute and sensor stack.
Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies, technical risks, and schedule conflicts before they become blockers.
Build and maintain program schedules, tracking mechanisms, and executive-level status reporting.
Facilitate technical trade-off discussions involving performance, power, cost, and timeline, driving decisions to closure with engineering leadership.
Establish and evolve program management processes, including planning cadences, milestone reviews, and launch-readiness criteria, for fast-moving hardware-software programs.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of technical program management experience, including programs spanning embedded software and hardware such as compute platforms, SoCs, or sensors.
Proven ability to manage complex, long-running, cross-functional projects.
Deep familiarity with software, hardware, or automotive development processes.
Ability to maintain the big-picture perspective and provide clear, structured, concise communications tailored to the audience.
Strong technical and analytical skills, including the ability to contribute to architecture and methodology documentation and understand systems and hardware-software interfaces.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting program status and risks to senior leadership.
Strong relationship-building skills with senior leaders and engineers across functions, and the ability to advance goals without direct authority.
