About the role

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the company’s risk and underwriting policy
  • Develop and calibrate risk models, including Expected Loss frameworks
  • Lead risk strategy design and optimization of underwriting and portfolio monitoring processes to align with risk appetite and business objectives
  • Establish methodologies for risk forecasting, stress testing, and scenario analysis
  • Manage development and enhancement of dashboards, monitoring tools, and risk reporting to ensure timely detection of portfolio risk drivers and emerging concentrations
  • Collaborate with product, business, and data teams to integrate risk insights into business decision-making
  • Supervise and mentor a team of risk analysts and associates to strengthen organizational risk capacity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial engineering, statistics, or economics
  • 2 years of experience in the skill sets listed in the job description

Compensation

  • Base salary range up to $200,000 (final offer determined by experience, expertise, location, and market data)
