Senior Data Scientist, Provider Data Science

Responsibilities

• Model data, create visualizations, and deliver insights that drive action.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data Science teams to define and lead improvements to data pipelines.
• Own efforts to reduce latency between data and applications, design and build scalable data architecture and healthcare data models for pharmacy interventions and provider incentive programs.
• Gain deep understanding of core data architecture and lead pipeline improvements.
• Own and lead development of data models for EMR drug delivery and drug economics.
• Establish key KPIs and reporting standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical plans, including data ingestion, standardization, cleaning, core modeling, and BI dashboarding.
• Lead development of utilization and quality metrics and serve as domain expert.
• Leverage data assets for business opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep experience working with healthcare data such as electronic health records, claims, or prior auth.
• Expertise in analytics, data modeling, and data transformation to influence decisions.
• Deep expertise in dbt and SQL, designing, rebuilding, and owning complex data models and pipelines.
• Experience with large healthcare datasets, ideally in healthcare-focused technology startup, health plan, or provider group.
• Working knowledge of Python or R and experience with Looker or similar BI tools (plus).
• Previous involvement with drug or Medicare Part D data (plus).

Compensation

Base salary: $166,500 - $185,000 (plus equity, benefits).
