Responsibilities
Define, build, and maintain dashboards that show product performance and surface anomalies.
Quantify opportunities and help set realistic, measurable key results grounded in data.
Plan, instrument, and analyze A/B tests and other causal analyses; make ship, iterate, or kill recommendations.
Partner on personalization, ranking, and incentives initiatives from framing through measurement.
Produce clear readouts for product and leadership and translate findings into decisions.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in data science or product analytics, ideally for a consumer product with a fast, iterative development cycle.
Strong SQL and proficiency in Python or R for analysis and modeling.
Expertise designing A/B tests, reasoning about power and bias, and applying causal-inference methods when experimentation is not possible.
Strong foundation in statistics and judgment in selecting appropriate methods.
Product sense and ability to turn ambiguous questions into effective analyses and concrete recommendations.
Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex data to nontechnical audiences.
Comfortable working independently in a lean, ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with personalization, ranking, recommendation, or pricing and incentive systems.
Familiarity with prediction markets, trading, cryptocurrency, or other real-money marketplaces.
Experience building experimentation practices.
