Community Developer Lead
Drive developer community growth for Orkes through engagement, technical education, content creation, and events. Requires 2+ years of developer community experience and strong technical foundation.
What You’ll Do
Community Engagement
- Interact with developers via various online and in-person communities to drive awareness, engagement and usage of our products
- Answer technical questions, unblock users, and foster an inclusive, knowledgeable, and strong community that developers want to be a part of
- Educate developers on workflow orchestration, agentic workflows, and distributed systems through your content and community programs
- Build real relationships to empower our contributors, advocates, and power users
- Create educational content such as blogs, tutorials, videos, walkthroughs, and learning materials
- End-to-end ownership of webinars, workshops, AMAs, demos, and community events
- Represent Orkes at conferences, meetups, podcasts, and online events
- Bring developer feedback back to Product and Engineering to help improve Orkes
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of impactful experience in engagement with developers for deeply technical products in a community context
- A proactive, self-directed person who thrives in any situation and enjoys working alongside developer communities
- A strong technical foundation. You’ve written code and understand how developers think, build, troubleshoot, and evaluate new technologies
- You’ve created technical educational content in the past such as presentations, written work, videos, demos, and workshops
- You can take something complex and make it click for developers who are seeing it for the first time
- You are a highly resilient person that’s also execution-focused
Nice-to-Haves
- Open source community experience
- An existing audience or online presence in the developer space
- Conference talks/webinars/event hosting under your belt
- Familiarity with agentic workflow orchestration, in particular Conductor/Orkes
Compensation
$120-150k base plus equity
Founding Developer Relations Lead
As the Founding Developer Relations Lead, you will build and scale developer adoption for Payward's platform, focusing on APIs, SDKs, and agent interfaces. You will define developer experience standards, create technical narratives, and partner with engineering and product teams to shape the platform.
Developer Relations Engineer
Builds demos, technical content, and tools to enhance developer experience with Tailscale's connectivity, VPN, and security products. Collaborates cross-functionally, speaks at events, contributes to open source, and shapes developer-facing product evolution. Requires strong software engineering and communication skills.
Developer Evangelist
Engages and educates AI-focused developers in the Bay Area and North America through events, content, speaking, and building Twilio-powered solutions. Requires 3-5 years production coding experience in Python/PHP/Node/C#/Java and deep AI ecosystem knowledge.
Developer Educator
Creates technical content, documentation, and presentations on databases like Postgres, MySQL, and Vitess; speaks at conferences and hosts webinars to educate developers. Requires 2+ years in engineering/DevRel and strong communication skills, with 20-50% travel.
