Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales transactions in EMEA, including enterprise customer contracts.
- Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams to design and implement strategies that support high-growth go-to-market initiatives.
- Monitor and interpret evolving European legal and regulatory developments, including data protection, technology, and AI-related frameworks, and apply this knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment.
- Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies to reflect regional requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams, tailoring advice to enable responsible growth and innovation.
- Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function, fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture.
Requirements
- Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant EMEA jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience (in-house experience in technology or SaaS strongly preferred).
- Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property.
- Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
