About the role

Responsibilities

  • Discover user problems by interviewing users on construction sites, participating in sales meetings, and listening to customer success.
  • Narrow solutions with product design and engineering teams.
  • Write user stories, product requirement documents, and lead engineering in building/releasing features.
  • Communicate feature value to sales, marketing, customer success, and customers.
  • Conduct customer discovery with executives, field teams, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Shape, refine, and execute product roadmap with stakeholders.
  • Represent voice of customer in prioritization.
  • Partner with Engineering and QA/QC on features, defects, and processes.
  • Write product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define success metrics, measure outcomes, and iterate with data.
  • Balance speed, quality, and business impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as product manager at enterprise SaaS company.
  • 3+ years working for construction company (e.g., scheduler, project manager, field/project engineer, superintendent) or on construction tech software.
  • Experience on large, complex U.S. construction projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean construction, CPM scheduling, short-interval/pull planning a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, warp-speed execution, business-minded.
  • History owning 0-1 feature conception, development, release.
  • Conviction in product processes with flexibility for velocity.
  • Solve root problems scalably.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, strong communicator for technical/non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable in deep technical discussions with engineers.
