About the role
Responsibilities
Develop and own vehicle-level safety cases for driving functions and platform integration
Translate safety analysis into clear, implementable safety requirements and constraints
Apply ISO 26262 Part 3 (Concept Phase), Part 4 (System Development), and Part 9 (analysis & decomposition)
Work across vehicle features (braking, steering, ADAS, body functions) to identify risks and define mitigations
Hands-on development of safety artifacts aligned to road-driving features (e.g., hazard analysis, FMEA, safety case structures)
Collaborate with HW, SW, and integration teams to ensure safety is correctly implemented end-to-end
System level working knowledge and good exposure to HW FMEA's for vehicle safety case measures
Support vehicle bring-up and validation with safety checks aligned to system behavior
