About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering, product leadership, business leadership, and engineers across the company.
  • Maintain and improve systems serving existing customers while designing and shipping new platform products.
  • Design clean, reliable, well-abstracted solutions for problems involving scale, correctness, and developer experience.
  • Help shape the platform architecture as it grows to serve new consumer categories, including agents and automated systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of industry experience working on commercial software applications or services.
  • Experience with distributed systems; Kafka experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with RPC frameworks and microservices.
  • Understanding of core computer science concepts, including common data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with frontend development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $180,000–$440,000 USD.
