About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support Legal and Finance organizations through data analytics and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Improve data self-service capabilities and automate workflows using AI tooling.
  • Provide technical and data guidance to Legal and Finance partners.
  • Apply a deep understanding of the data ecosystem to support operational data requirements for legal requests.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and functional stakeholders to develop and maintain systems and processes supporting Legal and Finance.
  • Partner with engineering teams to gather requirements and generate outputs for technically complex matters.
  • Analyze large datasets to solve complex problems.
  • Improve process efficiency through automation and data pipelines that strengthen self-service reporting and analytics.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, including relevant financial and/or legal data experience.
  • Degree in information systems, computer science, finance, mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Experience analyzing large and complex datasets.
  • Strong SQL knowledge.
  • Experience validating datasets and outputs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to identify process-efficiency opportunities and translate workflows into feature requirements.
  • Experience using Claude Code, Codex, or other AI platforms for research, routines, and text-to-SQL capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hybrid flexibility with the option to work from home.
  • In-person meetings approximately 2–3 times per week.
