Responsibilities
- Leading the development for our end-user web application, used by healthcare administrators and providers
- Architecting and implementing major platform components to provide actionable insights and recommendations to health plan administrators and support robust workflows related to addressing fraud, waste, and abuse
- Prototyping new features and use cases for demos and user feedback
- Establish engineering best practices and technical foundations for future team growth and AI-enabled coding
- Help shape our technical roadmap, make key architectural decisions, and influence the company's product and design strategy
Technical Challenges
- Develop a flexible and robust UI/UX that supports many types of use cases and data sources related to administrative healthcare workflows and include intelligent, actionable insights
- Implement functionality related to machine learning pipelines that ingest complex medical standards, analyze medical records and automate recommendations for clinical reviewers
- Incorporate human-centric AI user experiences, in which the UI/UX enables users to build trust with the use of AI in our products
- Design and implement high quality user experience while upholding high security and privacy standards

Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience building end-user web applications at product-driven companies
- Proficient with web and backend technologies (e.g., React, Python) and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Customer obsessed and motivated to make an impact in the healthcare space
- High user empathy and the ability to develop frontend UI/UX with minimal guidance
- A collaborative team player with attention to detail
Nice-to-haves
- Significant experience working with healthcare data and with HIPAA best practices
- Developed design systems and made frontend codebases maintainable
- Played the role of an architect on major full stack software projects
