Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to frontend and backend development by building, maintaining, and enhancing user interfaces, APIs, and core platform components using Python, TypeScript, and Go, with a primary focus on Python and TypeScript.
• Support and develop the open-source SDK to keep it intuitive and effective for developers integrating with the platform.
• Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to develop features and address bugs that improve the experience for AI engineers and researchers.
• Write clean, maintainable code with emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Follow best practices for testing and continuous integration.
• Participate in code reviews, mentorship opportunities, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Experience with Python and/or TypeScript, with an interest in growing in a full-stack role.
• Strong experience with frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as React, Express, FastAPI, or Pydantic.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to learn from feedback.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Go or another strongly typed language.
• Enthusiasm for open-source projects and contributions.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, distributed computing, or containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with modern development best practices.
• Coursework or projects demonstrating full-stack experience.
• Experience with Git and version-control workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay range: $130,000–$200,000.
