Senior Product Designer, Engagement

What You'll Be Doing

• Act as a design lead without a dedicated cross-functional product team, partnering with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional peers to oversee user experience from idea to market.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and help implement designs to pixel perfection; serve as the quality leader ensuring built work matches vision.
• Manage own timelines, deliverables, and priorities with solid judgment.
• Influence strategy and scope of work as a leader within the immediate team.
• Collaborate with designers across organizations in sprints to ensure scalable and consistent user experiences.
• Proactively present and communicate designs to organizational leadership, immediate team, design peers, design discipline, and executive leadership to gather feedback, build consensus, and act as domain expert.
• Test, learn, and iterate on designs alongside product peers.
• Meaningfully use, maintain, and contribute to the Design System library.

What You Should Have

• 5+ years designing modern consumer-focused products, having been the design lead of multiple product teams.
• Highly proficient in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping tools (e.g. Protopie, Framer, Origami).
• High skill in crafting quality visual designs with an eye for delight in product experiences.
• Working understanding and curiosity of AI-assisted design workflows (ideation, prototyping, generative UI) with judgment on when human refinement is needed.
• Portfolio demonstrating primary design contribution to projects on both desktop and mobile.
• Frequent personal use of Discord, with preference for gaming space/experience.
• Ability to proactively form ideas and communicate them through documents, prototypes, and presentations.
• Experience collaboratively guiding product vision through design explorations, documentation, and presentations.
• Ownership mindset with bias towards action; low ego focused on progress and growth.
• Experience working with a design system/library.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $188,000 to $211,500 + equity + benefits.
