QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Playwright and TypeScript for UI and API testing.
• Collaborate with QE colleagues to meet testing needs for continuous development.
• Enhance and update AI skills, rules, and agents.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
• Implement and execute automated tests across end-to-end, integration, and component levels.
• Perform API testing with Postman and automate API tests using Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback cycles.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and stakeholders throughout projects.
• Stay current with trends and technologies in software testing, automation, and AI.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, focused on automation.
• Experience working with AI.
• Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing using Postman and automated API testing.
• Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as web application architecture.
• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with Docker and containerization or orchestration technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with database testing and SQL.

Compensation and Benefits

• $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
