Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire design thinking process for significant parts of a multi-platform product suite, including consumer products, B2B2C experiences, and internal business tools.
• Contribute to the growth of the product design function and build and communicate best practices across the organization.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Tax Analyst, and design leadership to prioritize initiatives and solve the right problems.
• Ensure pixel-perfect execution across the design process while maintaining a broader product perspective.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to continuously improve the product experience.
• Contribute to business-level objectives and key results by ensuring design work adds value for users and the business.
• Partner with Marketing to align solutions with users' voices and the company brand.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing and building digital products.
• Knowledge of and passion for interaction and visual design.
• High standards for design quality, with an emphasis on clean, elegant, and usable design.
• Exceptional organization and planning skills.
• Experience using research, usability testing, and metrics to inform design decisions.
• Comfort with an iterative design process and incorporating feedback.
• Ability to drive end-to-end product and feature improvements.
• Ability to think strategically about business objectives.
• Strong collaboration skills and flexibility in an evolving work environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with conceptual thinking, creativity, self-learning, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present design methodologies and direction to senior stakeholders and founders.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.
