About the role

Responsibilities

  • Product Security: Drive effective security detection and response across the production platform for B2B SaaS cybersecurity services.
  • Secure Cloud Architecture: Design, evaluate, and implement architectural security standards for AWS, Azure, and PaaS cloud platforms.
  • DevSecOps Collaboration: Partner with DevOps and Platform teams to integrate security into infrastructure-as-code lifecycle, reviewing IaC/HCL/DSL configurations via PRs.
  • Threat Modeling: Review architecture and product development to ensure security and privacy by design.
  • Platform Vulnerability and Risk Management: Manage vulnerability program for cloud environments, triaging alerts and coordinating mitigations.
  • Threat Detection & Response: Develop strategies for incident response and recovery, implementing runtime and build-level controls.
  • Own Security Compliance: Design, monitor, and remediate cloud security controls end-to-end.

Requirements

  • Experience at a B2B SaaS company providing cloud-hosted services.
  • Flexible security mindset balancing security, usability, and agility.
  • Value documentation for recommendations, processes, and decisions.
  • Security-as-Code / IaC mindset with tools like Terraform, Spacelift, CircleCI, Git.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go).
  • Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure, including secure architectures, cloud-native security tooling, logging, identity management.
  • Incident response knowledge, forensic tools, query languages (jQL, SQL, Splunk).

Compensation

  • Base salary: $165,000 - $193,000 plus bonus and equity.
