About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead design efforts that measurably improve people’s lives within a focused, balanced team
  • Guide team culture through mentorship and thought leadership
  • Infuse user-centered practices across the organization
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders, teammates, and non-technical colleagues
  • Lead design critiques with cross-functional stakeholders and peers
  • Collaborate with other design leads on Design Ops initiatives
  • Explore untouched or undiscovered opportunities
  • Launch features into production with iterations
  • Influence decisions outside of your team for the larger organization

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with native mobile app and enterprise tooling design experience
  • Experience building AI-powered products (consumer and enterprise)
  • Experience with Figma or other AI-powered design tools
  • Experience with animation (ideally Rive)
  • Technical acumen and experience designing for complex problems and tools
  • Ability to self-direct and prioritize work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience designing, building, maintaining, and implementing design systems
  • Team and/or project management experience

Nice to Haves

  • Experience building enterprise tools in Slack
