About the role
Responsibilities
Automate Compliance and Finance regulatory processes.
Build solutions that process large amounts of data from the data warehouse to generate accurate reporting.
Build and maintain reconciliations.
Partner with Compliance, Finance, and Treasury stakeholders to understand regulatory and financial obligations and business requirements.
Translate business requirements into clean designs and scalable solutions.
Provide technical guidance as the team’s tech lead.
Prioritize work and perform hands-on design, development, and code review.
Evolve technical standards and best practices.
Requirements
At least 5 years of software design and development experience, including CI/CD, source code control, testing, and quality management.
High proficiency in Python, SQL, and database design.
Experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake to generate complex solutions at scale.
Strong communication skills with non-technical business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers.
Ability to troubleshoot, logically assess problems, and determine solutions.
Self-starter with a sense of urgency and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in post-trade automation, including designing and architecting systems for complex data problems.
Experience generating financial industry regulatory reports such as EMIR, MiFID, SFTR, CPR, and K Factor.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $150,000–$225,000.
